The prinicipal of Blissfield Middle School says a quarter of his kids were receiving failing grades when he first started there two and a half years ago. Quickly, he implemented the DRIVE program, which stands for Developing Responsibility Is Vitally Essential. For the first time, the school has received an "A" grade from the state of Michigan. Garlicky bosco sticks and popcorn shrimp are being served in the cafeteria at Blissfield Middle School. But in the DRIVE room, lunch is served with a side of last night's phentermine diet. Serena Lopez, sixth grade student told News 11, "Today, I didn't get my English paper done. So I had to get my rough draft in today in DRIVE."
