We all got through the Thanksgiving holiday but we still have other December gatherings that are sure to be filled with luscious goodies. Sue Patternson, R.D., Healthy Maine Partnership/York Hospital will be at the Center on Friday, Dec. 7 from 9:30 10:30 a.m. This will be a great time to learn how to adapt favorite holiday recipes, make them heart healthy and diabetes friendly, plus maintain weight. A door prize and snacks will add to the enjoyment. Friday, Dec. 14 brings an opportunity for Chinese food donated by local Chinese restaurants.
