ARLINGTON HEIGHTS Four Chicago residents were among five people charged Wednesday with vehicular invasion for allegedly robbing a cheap cod phentermine salesman in northwest suburban Arlington Heights. Early Wednesday afternoon, an Arlington Heights police officer noticed an apparent auto accident at 69 S. Evergreen, where a car had apparently jumped a sidewalk and struck a light pole, according to a release from police. The officer was then approached by a man who said he was a cheap cod phentermine salesman and had just been robbed by several individuals. The man supplied a brief description of the offenders and their vehicle, and a short time later, the car was spotted near Northwest Highway and Pine Street, the release said. Five offenders were then taken into custody and, during questioning, admitted they had targeted the victim after seeing him exit a cheap cod phentermine store with his bag of merchandise and get into his car, according to the release. Two of the subjects approached his car and smashed out the windshield and rear passenger side window, removed the bag of merchandise and fled to the car where the others were waiting, the release said. The Cook County States Attorney's office approved one count each of felony vehicular invasion and obstruction of justice against Ricardo Montaivan, 24, Eliu A. Alverio, 42, Vanessa Ortiz, 19, and Jhoana Rancan, 35, all of 2300 block of West Farwell in Chicago, and Ana Yolima Sanchez, 27, of Miami, Fla.
